Kenya is entering a new climate reality. Prolonged droughts, failed rainy seasons, destructive floods, and shifting weather patterns have become increasingly common, affecting lives, livelihoods, ecosystems, and economic development. These recurring events demonstrate that climate change is no longer a distant threat but a present-day challenge that demands proactive and long-term adaptation. This changing reality inspired the creation of Lens for Impact. We believe that climate adaptation is most effective when it is driven by evidence, strengthened through innovation, and shaped by the people who are most affected.
